 About Me

Hello my name is Sharon Wensley, I live in East Devon with my 2 dogs. I got my first dog 24 years ago from a local sheep farmer and through a local dog club started training then competing in agility, qualifying for UKA Grand Finals at various levels from Beginners Steeplechase through to the top level Masters with different dogs. I have previously judged agility at Kennel Club and UK Agility shows and was a Kennel Club Good Citizens Judge and I started teaching agility in 2014 for Just Dogs Southwest. In 2018 I became an Instructor for Canine Hoopers UK and held regular lessons for Just Dogs Southwest in East Devon. In 2022 I passed the Canine Rally Instructors Course. I also enjoy trying new activities with my dogs, including Man Trailing and Tricks, my two younger dogs have successfully gained their Trick Dog Champion status from the USA.

After seeing the results that Canine Massage can achieve, I signed up to the Clinical Canine Massage Therapist Practitioner programme which is externally accredited with LANTRA Awards in 2018, the course is run by Natalie Lenton of the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, over the 2 years I have completed over 1200 hours of study, 10 case studies, written examination and practical assessments which cover canine anatomy and Physiology Massage theory and Law, Orthopaedic, Muscular and Neurological Pathologies, gait Analysis, Pain Management and 4 disciplines of massage including Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release and most important the Lenton Method®, these have provided me with over 50 different massage techniques.
